The Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show: The Foils

Wow, September kinda flew on by didn't it?

To end this series of postings I'm presenting to you the...Foils of the shows. These guys are the rivals and counterparts that make things happen in the show. Without them the Main characters and their friends would have nothing to worry about beyond tests and saying to drugs in the form of Bronto Blow.

Cindy Curbstone was Pebbles' rival during the show. She was one of those popular rich bitch blondes who found nothing better to do with their time than crush anyone who could potentially de-throne them.

Cindy saw Pebbles as a threat.

I think she made a great rival though. She knew Pebbles' personality like the back of her hand. Of course she had the same supermodel proportions, but what made her a different kind of rival is that she was mostly calm about destroying the lives of others. She wasn't often disgusted or angry...to her ruining people was like a game.

And don't we all love a bitch who can fuck you up and stay ice cold about it?

Fabian Fabquartz is the counterpart to Bamm Bamm. However he's nearly everything Bamm Bamm isn't. He's not buff but he is stylish. He's rich while Bamm Bamm is middle class. His design, and even his car, is made to remind us of European sleek jetsetters while Bamm Bamm is supposed to remind of the nice jock on the team who was raised to treat everyone like a human being. What they do have in common is that they both readily take a backseat to the dynamic females they're entangled with.

Did I mention that Fabian dates Cindy? It should also be noted that...he has no problem with the main characters or any interest in derailing them. He also sees life as a game, but ignores things not as cool as he is. He doesn't make waves and neither does Bamm Bamm.

If only Fabian had had a bit more character development or clues in the show. Thing is...I don't think he cared much for Bedrock anyway.

Freaky Frankenstone

The last entry I made for the contest isn't even a character from the Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show. He's from the the Frankenstones spin-off where a family of Munsters/Addams-esque individuals move in next to the Flintstones and the wives form an instant bond. The problem is that the husbands, Fred and Frank, HATE each other. In particular they don't like that their teenaged offspring, the offspring in question being Pebbles and Freaky, are really good friends. And the idea of that they could end up together TERRIFIES the fathers. 

Freaky (I did age him up quite a bit here) is a lot like Bamm Bamm, but...only if Bamm Bamm and Penny Pillar were morphed into one person. He's a lot more polite and considerate, and has more initiative than Bamm Bamm does (Pebbles doesn't get any crazy ideas around Freaky. Very mellow) 

Freaky actually doesn't have a scar in the show but I added it so it would be reminiscent of his father. Also I had to fight myself not to draw him with that bone flute he knows how to play. He looked so cute playing it too...
