I'm opening up my blog with one of my favorite pieces from one of the shows I really liked.
American Dragon was one of those shows that tried to bring us a slice of American life inter-spliced with Asian American culture among others. I guess you can say it came about during Disney's ethnic fixation phase. You had American Dragon, The Proud Family, and Lilo and Stitch the series (plus the one Canadian life action show "Living Life with Derek"
But I was really pleased to see Asian American getting a bit more representation on television (Mucha Lucha had the same effect as did Static Shock. I like to see the reps)
Anywho so these pics are rather risque, yes, I wanted to do the core characters. Originally I wanted to go further and do other characters like Brad and Fu Dog but...meh.
Did I never write that I love these hot portraits? Aww man... I'm glad that myself is not the only one who remember and love this neat cartoon xD
